PJ Party!!

I started sewing these a month ago...here was my first pair to make sure the pattern was what I want...and it was...so over the last few days I have made 6 pairs!! I was ment to start them earlier in the week to have them ready for Bee's birthday but they will be in the mail tomorrow!!

I even got out the overlocker and with DH's help maganged to change the thread colour and re-thread it and off I went! It was a production line of cutting, sewing, heming and then attaching ribbons!



They are very comfy and I wore mine for a few hours after I had the photos taken...I didn't want to take them off!! I can see me living in these after the baby is born...if I don't have to go out anywhere that is!!

{3rd Birthday} Octonauts party

It has been a week two weeks since Aden's Octonauts party and I think I have recovered enough to post about it. Special thanks to my sister for gabbing my camera and my MIL and SIL for their cameras, as I didn't take any all day! Aden is a massive Octonauts fan! So when he didn't go for my initial plan of a 'Monsters' Party ( too scary Mummy!) we decided on Octonauts. I did a lot of Internet searching and looking at a lot of Pintrest posts to gather all my ideas together.  There was lots of party food including Octonaut Cupcakes. Cake toppers from Ebay  And a Kwazii cake as requested by the birthday boy! I totally forgot to put on the Octopus I had for his hat!! We also had yellow/green/blue jelly cups with turtles in them and smarties cookies. As well as regular party food and hot finger food for the adults. Mummy wiping Aden's face before having cake photos! We had balloons, a birthday banner and streamers.

All you have to do is share a quilt you have made! I'm going to share this quilt.... from a pattern yes but I loved making it! Choosing the fabrics was fun...playing with colours mixing them up...changing my mind...I tried to be true to life but it ws hard with the bright fabrics... I had a border dilema that was fixed by some helpful friends! Progress pic... All the animals finished Of course it helps to love a quilt when your making it for a very special little girl! I'm keen to make this one again...just to play with the fabrics!!
