Now... and then..... 2009

My beautiful niece turns 2 today!! We had a great birthday party for her yesterday at her place. It was Aden's first birthday party. He of course didn't get much sleep and was passed around alot but he was very very good! Annaleisa is crazy about Dora so Mum made her a 'Dora' cake! And she of course liked my present the best! Crayon roll (a few posts back), Colouring books, clothes and a Doll quilt! All the kids got down on the floor right away and started colouring it was so cute! And that bump under the quilt is a doll...awwwwww Picture taken on Thursday when I finished her quilt...also blogged about here... Aden had a fantasic time playing with his cousin....they gave each other rides on the bikes and read stories...they are so cute together. Can't wait to see them interact more as they get older! Happy Birthday Leisy girl!!

Aden is 1 month old this weekend... and we have just returned from meeting the rest of his family...almost...just 2 Aunties and an Uncle to go! He was an absolute angel on the plane...barely a 30 second grizzle on decent on the way there, much to the relief of the old man sitting next to us I'm sure! The flight home was just as pleasant, a few more grizzles this time but they were quickly resolved with a few cuddles and some Mummy milk! Aden was very pleased to meet his Pa, Aunty Bee, Uncle Trent, Aunty KC, Cousin Annaleisa and his Great-Grandparents, as well as the rest of his extended family...It almost wore him out! But being the true little champion that he is he managed quite well being passed around and fussed over. Let's hope he doesn't think that the fussing will contiune at home this week and he continues to be good! My beautiful Baby niece is the big 1 today! I wish I was spending the day with her at her BBQ Birthday lunch. We had an early christmas lunch at Mum's this year while we were down...a pitty my littlest sis couldn't make it too...see you soon Bub. Bee and I had a great time playing with Leisy. She was full of smiles and laughs...even while changing her nappy! And yes that is a green shopping bag she is in...there was also a cardboard box and a christmas hat...she didn't like the hat very much! Annaleisa had a ball soaking herself with the hose and laughing at us as we laughed at her! Of course all that can tucker a little one out!
