Survived!!

A and I both survived the whirl-wind rush of visiting home for 4 days....we got to see almost everyone..M didn't return my call....I forgot to ring S and A....J L, and baby I missed out because of transport hassles!! It is so much easier when we diver but not worth it for such a short time....

I have brought back more than a shoebox full of photos to start making Mum's 50th album...I have done one page and there are about another 49 to go...lucky I have 18 months to finish it!!

This is the first one...What do you think??? Cee and Bee...leave coments please!!!

Here is it....sorry it is late!! I thought I had another day to go!! What happenend to Tuesday?? To make up for my error I have three sets of fabrics to giveaway...just let me know which one you want! Set 1. {3rd Birthday} Octonauts party

It has been a week two weeks since Aden's Octonauts party and I think I have recovered enough to post about it. Special thanks to my sister for gabbing my camera and my MIL and SIL for their cameras, as I didn't take any all day! Aden is a massive Octonauts fan! So when he didn't go for my initial plan of a 'Monsters' Party ( too scary Mummy!) we decided on Octonauts. I did a lot of Internet searching and looking at a lot of Pintrest posts to gather all my ideas together.  There was lots of party food including Octonaut Cupcakes. Cake toppers from Ebay  And a Kwazii cake as requested by the birthday boy! I totally forgot to put on the Octopus I had for his hat!! We also had yellow/green/blue jelly cups with turtles in them and smarties cookies. As well as regular party food and hot finger food for the adults. Mummy wiping Aden's face before having cake photos! We had balloons, a birthday banner and streamers.

Amy is hosting a Quilt Festival! You get to see so many beautiful quilts all in the one place in the comfort of your own home...or work desk as the case may be! All you have to do is share a quilt you have made! I'm going to share this quilt.... from a pattern yes but I loved making it! Choosing the fabrics was fun...playing with colours mixing them up...changing my mind...I tried to be true to life but it ws hard with the bright fabrics... I had a border dilema that was fixed by some helpful friends! Progress pic... All the animals finished Of course it helps to love a quilt when your making it for a very special little girl! I'm keen to make this one again...just to play with the fabrics!!
