Organising...

I didn't realise how many blogs out there are all about organising your home/kitchen/junk/clutter! I stumbled onto this site showing 52 weeks of organising and stupidly showed my husband! He thinks it is great and to please him and to stop the 'stuff' invading my house, I'm going to give it a go.

It is hard to know where to start when you are a horder, love 'keepsakes' can't bear to part with anything Aden has created, and have a dozen 'hobbies'.

I'm going to start in the pantry. I few weeks ago I bought over $1000 of Tupperware. It has all been washed and dried and is ready to go.

Here is what my pantry looked like a few weeks ago when I decided something must be done about it.
We've been super lazy on the cooking front and I think this mess has something to do with it....can't find anything!


I'll show you in a few hours what my pantry now looks like....when I finish it....come looking for me if I don't make it back.....

haha you havent gotta lost have you!, this sounds like a good idea! i drive my partner mad with all the stuff around the house so im goin to check it out :)

I love tupperware! I have collected it over the years and managed to get myself a few different sets of modular mates for free with parties!

Must go check out that website :) I started to organise but have a heap more to go yet!

{3rd Birthday} Octonauts party

It has been a week two weeks since Aden's Octonauts party and I think I have recovered enough to post about it. Special thanks to my sister for gabbing my camera and my MIL and SIL for their cameras, as I didn't take any all day! Aden is a massive Octonauts fan! So when he didn't go for my initial plan of a 'Monsters' Party ( too scary Mummy!) we decided on Octonauts. I did a lot of Internet searching and looking at a lot of Pintrest posts to gather all my ideas together.  There was lots of party food including Octonaut Cupcakes. Cake toppers from Ebay  And a Kwazii cake as requested by the birthday boy! I totally forgot to put on the Octopus I had for his hat!! We also had yellow/green/blue jelly cups with turtles in them and smarties cookies. As well as regular party food and hot finger food for the adults. Mummy wiping Aden's face before having cake photos! We had balloons, a birthday banner and streamers.

Amy is hosting a Quilt Festival! You get to see so many beautiful quilts all in the one place in the comfort of your own home...or work desk as the case may be! All you have to do is share a quilt you have made! I'm going to share this quilt.... from a pattern yes but I loved making it! Choosing the fabrics was fun...playing with colours mixing them up...changing my mind...I tried to be true to life but it ws hard with the bright fabrics... I had a border dilema that was fixed by some helpful friends! Progress pic... All the animals finished Of course it helps to love a quilt when your making it for a very special little girl! I'm keen to make this one again...just to play with the fabrics!!
