9 weeks + 2 days

We saw a heartbeat!!

The ultrasound today was cool!! Russell (as Hubby has so called the little blob growing inside me) is spot on for dates. Measuring 2.41cms with a fast heartbeat of 176 bpm. It was moving around a bit too! Both my ovaries were still very enlarged, so maybe that's why my guts already sticks out a bit!

I am still feeling very well and just a little tired. I haven't been sick yet, only sometimes a little quesy for 1/2 hour or so of an evening.

Erin, the ultrasound lady, did change my due date to the 22nd of July, but I'm sticking with the 21st.

I've booked an appointment with the OB for the 14th of January, I'll be about 13 weeks.

{3rd Birthday} Octonauts party

It has been a week two weeks since Aden's Octonauts party and I think I have recovered enough to post about it. Special thanks to my sister for gabbing my camera and my MIL and SIL for their cameras, as I didn't take any all day! Aden is a massive Octonauts fan! So when he didn't go for my initial plan of a 'Monsters' Party ( too scary Mummy!) we decided on Octonauts. I did a lot of Internet searching and looking at a lot of Pintrest posts to gather all my ideas together.  There was lots of party food including Octonaut Cupcakes. Cake toppers from Ebay  And a Kwazii cake as requested by the birthday boy! I totally forgot to put on the Octopus I had for his hat!! We also had yellow/green/blue jelly cups with turtles in them and smarties cookies. As well as regular party food and hot finger food for the adults. Mummy wiping Aden's face before having cake photos! We had balloons, a birthday banner and streamers.

All you have to do is share a quilt you have made! I'm going to share this quilt.... from a pattern yes but I loved making it! Choosing the fabrics was fun...playing with colours mixing them up...changing my mind...I tried to be true to life but it ws hard with the bright fabrics... I had a border dilema that was fixed by some helpful friends! Progress pic... All the animals finished Of course it helps to love a quilt when your making it for a very special little girl! I'm keen to make this one again...just to play with the fabrics!!
