Beautiful Babies

A flying visit home and the delivery of 3 quilts....all very much well recieved!! Annaleisa (which is now what my brother has changed the spelling to!!) is a tiny doll, and although she has her days and nights mixed-up at bit at present, is bringing great joy to her parents and grandparents....it is funny to see my brother ga-ga over his little daughter.
Annaleisa is 15 days old in these pictures


Nate didn't like his quilt much at first....but a quick cuddle and he was happy to lie down on the quilt for a bit....


I think Patrick will have more fun with this quilt til Nate gets a bit older...He is such a sweet annimated little boy....the ribbon I had wrapped around the quilt was the most entertaining thing all afternoon

Ohhhhhh AJ! How cute is she! Little Bonds Wondersuit sleeves rolled up! Awwww. She looks quite comfy in her new quilt too. :)

Just to let everyone know that we have recieved our 'Wedding Quilt' whilst AJ & DH were on the Sunny Coast. Only a tad late (wedding 21.10.06)but it is fantastic. I'm sure photos will appear in the near future so you can all see the finished quilt. Mick is very proudly showing off how smart & talented DIL is. Huge thank you from us both.

Annaleisa looks gorgeous, her little face and hands are so sweet. Beautiful quilt, perfect for a bebe girl. Nate is a cutie too, and Patrick looks like he's going to me a mischevious big brother!

Oh Aunty AJ. Your tiny little niece is just gorgeous. She looks so tiny in that beautiful quilt.
Love both quilts and you look like such a proud Aunty of your nephews too. Can't wait to see No. 3 !!!

All you have to do is share a quilt you have made! I'm going to share this quilt.... from a pattern yes but I loved making it! Choosing the fabrics was fun...playing with colours mixing them up...changing my mind...I tried to be true to life but it ws hard with the bright fabrics... I had a border dilema that was fixed by some helpful friends! Progress pic... All the animals finished Of course it helps to love a quilt when your making it for a very special little girl! I'm keen to make this one again...just to play with the fabrics!!

12 WIP's in 2012

Have you got a quilt top that needs backing and binding? A pile of half-finished blocks? A Table Runner that needs quilting? Some Quilting Bee blocks that require putting together? A husband that thinks you have too many projects on the go at once? Got a pile of WIP’s you’d like to see finished? I say YES to all of the above and if you do too why not join me on a 12 WIP’s in 2012 challenge! Starting in January you can challenge yourself to finish 1 WIP a month.
