I am delighted, in fact tickled pink and loving the fact I can say 'see' to DH, that in this months Down Under Quilts there is an artile on blue and green quilts. After umming and arring for a while and deciding no, I really do want green borders on my blue quilt, I'm so pleased others can see the great colour combination too!! That said... I'm grrring cause I'm about 20 inches short to finish the final border...I went to the local quilt shop to get some and they close at 3pm....what the??? That's when I finish work...so I cant make it there till Thursday...and I was on such a roll!!

Look what I got a netball tonight...a fat lip!! Some lady shoulder charged me as I went for the ball...:(...And we lost too...

I found just what I was looking for...the perfect green to finish this quilt...the lady at my local patchwork store was showing me all sorts of colours...but I found it...just what I had imagined in my head...I love it!! These pictures were taken before adding the last green border...same width as the other green border....now is it big enough?? I'm thinking about one more border....but what colour...oh no here we go again!!! Wow that's a lot of blogging in one weekend!!!

I have been making more blocks this weekend end....and playing with the layouts...cause I'm doing basically two different quilts...I'm going to do two different layouts... Diamonds Lines Radiating Diamonds

Mum has asked me to make the invitations for her wedding....I've chossen a colour I like...a dark silvery-blue...not sure if it is what Mum had in mind...here are some different styles for her to choose from....
