This little boy's smile just lights up a room....well our lounge room at least.....Mummy and Daddy love to make him smile! Aden is getting so expressive in his face...with big smiles and he even gives little squealing laughs now when you pretend to throw him up in the air....so cute!

It is starting to pop up everywhere in the stores.... Adds talked me into getting these FQ's on special at SL.....Looks like it is time to start the Christmas gift list!

I talked DH into it...an investment I told him....look what I now own!! Husqvarna Sapphire 870 Quilt I had a little play on it last night....and it is sooo lovely!! I can't make it do all the things I want it to yet....there is a lot to learn but my head is going crazy with the possibilities! I also got the extension sewing table and quiters presser foot package, but it wasn't in store so the lady gave me a walking foot to use til the others come in. I'm going to play with it for a week and then while my little sister is here to watch Aden for me I'm going in to have a lesson on all the things the machine can do...Hope that is ok Cee?? It is very much quieter than my old one...the main complaint DH has about me sewing...and when we move in 2 months time I get MY OWN SEWING ROOM!! Yep a whole room just for sewing...I'm looking into getting a second table for the room...one for cutting and one for sewing...I'll have to see when we get down there and how it all fit...

I've been trying to get some sort of routine back into our week...they keep disappearing without me getting anything done. So we have returned to our Saturday morning beach trip. We load the car with 2 leads, a hose (to rinse the dog off before he gets back in the car), 2 towels, a nappy bag, a camera, 2 pairs of thongs, handbag, a dog, a baby and ourselves and we are off...to Maccas that is...for DH to get a coffee on the way. I don't drink tea or coffee so I usually get a chocolate croissant...but have decided to try and shift the last of the baby weight before Christmas...before it all comes back! LOL It was a lovely overcast day this morning that turned into a real stinker...Summer is on the way!

I broke the bobbin winder in my machine on Wednesday...sooo sad...I was almost finished the Doll Quilt Wall Hanging I've been making for my swappee...so close! My darling husband used all his mechanical skills to pull it apart and find the problem...a broken rubber ring on the bobbin winder. So I went to a local sewing machine shop to see if they had the part...they didn't but they had something better....new machines!! Now I just have to convince Hubby that I need a new one! They sent me to a different quilt shop today to see if I could get the part there...I can on order...but I also got a rude shock! The lady in the shop asked me to leave because I was talking on my mobile to my sister. I could understand it if I was interrupting her or anyone else in the shop but there was no one there, or if I was being served by her...I wasn't I was just looking at the fabrics on the shelf...or if my conversation was private, rude or offencive in any way...it wasn't I was telling...
