Busy stitching

I have three quilting projects on the go at the moment....ok we all know I have more than 3 but these are the ones I am currently excited about! The first is actually a finished quilt that was sent express post to the middle of nowhere in NSW yesterday...for our EB Doll's quilt swap...one has arrived at my place but I have to wait til the 7th to open it! The second is for a special new delivery! Just waiting to finish the label and it too will be in the post. I'm really please with this one as it has some free motion quilting on it...'free motion' in the sense that I didn't just do 'stitch-in-the-ditch' my regular quiting style. I used a paper cut out of the heart, pined it to the quilt and slowly and carefully stitched around it. Not bad if I do say so...all of the hearts are curved not chunky straight-lined so I'm very pleased. The third is of course Joy's RR that should have been finished ages ago....I was so unsure about what to do....even thoug...

The sun will come out tomorrow..

These lovely flowers arrived at work today. It is hard hearing news that you don't want and being told you will have to wait even longer for something that you have been waiting a lifetime for. My blood test was negative yesterday and it will be at least October before we can go again for a full stim cycle...more waiting

Cold hands Cold heart

I hope the acupuncturist is wrong in saying that I need warm hands and feet (they are always cold) before we can have a bub....I think I have been waiting long enough....look what he did to me!! A few hours after treament Photo taken about 24 hours after treatment Please excuse my pokey out tummy, and the other bruise is from Friday night's needle! Fingers and toes crossed for a successful defrost and transfer on Thursday!

Needles....YUCK!!

The needle tally for the week so far is 6 ...and all yucky!! I don't usually blog about it but it is a big part of my life, at the moment anyway, and I may want to remember it one day, especially if it leads to a beautiful bubba in 9 months time. We are currently doing our first round of full IVF....I will go under a general next week, something I am really really NOT looking foward to!! (I have never been a paitient at hospital before) It is only day surgery though and my wonderful DH will be having a few days off to look after me. I had a blood test today, so that was the reason for another needle. Hopefully with good results tomorrow I won't need to change the dosage I'm currently injecting and then we can have smooth sailing for the rest of the way. I know that is rather wishful thinking and it may not work this time....but I already have my hopes up and being positive can only help our current situation... So please everyone fingers and toes crossed!!! Thank you everyo...
