Finished putting this quilt top together today....the second of my log cabin quilts...I think I will get this one professionally quilted just for the sheer size of it. It is layed out over our Queen bed here....will go on the double bed in the spare room.... Don't you think Noodle is rather possive of this quilt?? Check out her facials!! It will eventually be hers as she spends a lot of time curled up on the spare bed!

it seems so tiny....now I need to decide what to do....

I have finished all my log cabin blocks....all 120 and of them!!! Now I just have to decide what arrangement to have them in...I'm still liking the diamonds for the spare room and radiating diamonds for the smaller quilt....hummmmm....will have to lay it out and see!

I went shopping at the local patchwork shop and spotlight yesterday....and found these to add as colours to my log cabins....I'm hoping to finish them this arvo!! Believe it or not I'm having to cut a heap more strips...and I thought I would have way too many!! I also got these as backings...the blue for Bernadette's Tropical Quilt and the pink for the Fairy wall hangings.

I have been making more blocks this weekend end....and playing with the layouts...cause I'm doing basically two different quilts...I'm going to do two different layouts... Diamonds Lines Radiating Diamonds

It doesn't look like much...but there is alot of work in these...I've now decided to make two seperate quilts cause of my stuff up....one with warm diamonds and one with cool diamonds... Warm Diamonds Cool Diamonds

Yeah's first.....My camera is fixed!! YEAH!!!! I picked it up from the post office this afternoon....and called in to the scrapbooking shop to get inspiration for my mum's wedding invitations...going back for a proper look tomorrow!! Yeah!! Emma's green material arrived today...now I have some more colours to add to my log cabins Boo...I think I may have royally stuffed up my log cabin blocks!!! I didn't really think them through....and have started some with cool colours and others with warm colours...so now they don't fit right in the 'diamond' pattern that I wanted to do...I think I may have to do this pattern (the way it is set out below, a three quarter diamond and then one block backwards)...cause I'm not unpicking them....or I could make heaps more for a second quilt??? Am I game enough for that??? I would have to make 30 more log cabin blocks??? Do I really want to do that???
