Flashback Friday sounds better...but I was busy so this will have to do...Visiting Mum over the holidays and getting ready to make her an album for her 50th, I found more great photos...will post some older ones soon, not of me...but these are my Pixie Photos taken at 6 months, and with my brother ages 23 months.

As promised it is my turn to choose this week theme... Travel...cars, bikes, tucks, skateboards, roller skates, prams or family road trips! This is my older brother washing the car in our back yard....and the second one is me pushing my sister in the pram...covered in chickenpox for my second birthday!!

It's been a while...but here is one for this week It's all in the family...so here is a photo for my mum in the family way. Here she is 7 months pregant with me! By the look fo the background it was taken in my great- grandparents front yard. July 1980 And next week I get to pick the topic...thanks Three Buttons !! I started off wondering what on earth I could pick...but a quick flick through the photo box and now I have heaps...will have to narrow it down a bit!!

Opps...late I know...This one had me stummped for awhile... I have lots of handmade things but the idea could be anything...and there is nothing more handmade than a birthday cake....every year up until our ninth birthday Mum made a cake, of our choosing, out of the 'Women's Day Brithday Cake' book, ( a traditon I hope to carry on for my own kids!) Mum's old recipe book has the names and birthday that each cake was used for...and I don't think there is one repeat...not bad for 4 kids!! So anyway here are some of my earlier cakes from my birthday parties... Hickory Dickory Dock....My 1st Brithday...1981 I'm the one in the middle in the white Miss Piggy...My 2nd Birthday...1982 I'm in green this time...looks handmade to me...and back in fashion?? Dolly Varden Cake...(I think that is what they are called??)..My 3rd Birthday....1983 Nope that is not me in front of the cake I'm at the very front left Twin baby dolls...My 4th Birthday...1984... Swimming Pool.....

I brought back 2 shoe boxes full of old photos from Mum's this week...so lots of flashback photos This weeks theme it PETS These few were taken about 1984 I think. Little sis aged 2 and I was 3.. These are of my other little sis....1987...check out the size of that cat!! and 1989....check out the shoes on the cat, 'Patches'...who belonged to my Nana

My DH is featuring this week...with a lot of reluctance!! Novermber 1981 - 10 and a half months Christmas 1985 WHAT A CUTIE!!!!

How match-y match-y is my family!! This was taken in December 1986 for my baby sisters christining, in our front garden. Check out our matching hand-made outfits!!

I fondly remember this t-shirt my dad is wearing...I don't remember what is says...but I remember him wearing it a lot when we were kids... Trent's 1st Birthday....July 1980 ....the same shirt more than three years later and with two more kids.... Christmas 1983 I decided to put these in too...Mum made a lot of our cloths when we were little and I think she made the one I'm wearing Check out the patchwork in the background!!

I know I know it is not Friday...but I went out for dinner...so here is my group photo from 1982...Can you guess which one is me? No one got it ...I'm the 'boy' the the white overalls and blue shirt on the right!!

I've been temped by Flashback Friday but I'm almost too young for the pre 1985 bit....so I'm bending the rules... Never been one to do things by halves...I've added a 'few' flashback photos in this weeks theme...Dressing Up.... This is the most typlical of our dressing up days as kids....wear a much as possilbe and add a hat...LOL...1984 Gotta love it when all it takes is a showercap and an umbrella to 'dress up'!! Grade One Fancy Dress Dance - we had these every few years at school...I think we all had a go at being the 'clown'....1986hehehehehe 'Gumnut' Concert August 1988 My little sister and I Another concert - notice the clown costume was 'adjusted' to fit my brother - love the fuzz....NOT...not sure of date very late 1986?
