Thank you Thank you Thank you.... Adds , Bec , Cylie , Emma , Helen , Joy , Leah , Lily , Mands , Milly and Sandi (blogless!!)....the wonderful quilters who are such wonderful friends! Even though I've never met any of them I feel very privileged to know them all....look at the talent in this one quilt! Aden liked this quilt much better then the one I made him...he even has a little smile on his face!

Aden's first quilt photo! Not sure if he liked it! Not much has happenend in the last day....still sleeping and feeding good...and having whing time for an hour or so a day....at different times...so hard to work out....no set routine yet...it changes all the time! Mummy's weight: Aden's wight:

Aden Henry is finally safely in the world...only 9 days over due! The birth was fairly tramatic for me with an induced 15 hours of labour (with drugs), induced broken waters, 2 hours of pushing with no movement followed by a c-section, cause his head was too big and desending at the wrong angle...I was disappointed and still am but I'm getting better at accepting that it was the best option for both of us. My eyes tear up and I feel sad just thinking about it. Recovery has been rather painful and I hate relying on people to do things for me...like pick up stuff that I drop...but that too is getting better everyday. DH has been wonderful taking care of me and being very hands on with Aden. My Mum has also just left and her help was invaluable! Althought she was rather inpatient having to 'waste' 9 days of her visit while I was overdue! Aden is a great feeder and sleeper...and very alert spending a lot of time awake which is when he wants to be nursed and held. I think we hav...

Just some quick snaps to introduce Aden to the world. He was born 24 minutes into the 30 July 2009. He was 53cm long and weighed 4.26kg or 9lb6.

I maganged to squeeze one more week of pregnancy blogging in....not for want of trying but Russell is being stubborn! After 2.5 years he/she is determined to make me wait just a little longer! I've spent the day relaxing, watching my Mum clean the house (Thanks Mum!!), making home DVD's to clear out space on the video recorder and quilting! So a nice day all round. The Doc will induce me tomorrow moring with some gels at 7:30am...so I'm hoping for a baby by lunch! One last pregnancy photo....with the stretch marks that arrived this week!!! EEEKKKKKK!!!! Weight: 83kg

It is amazing what you can get done when you have lots of time to kill. This one is on it's way to Sydney tomorrow for Foz to go with the pastel one I finished about 6 weeks ago...sorry about the wait! Un-washed with the quilting lines still visible....5-point stars in the white blocks.
