'Twas with a heavy heart I stitched some more of this beautiful city last night for #Saturdaynightcraftalong  Reminiscing about our holiday there almost 2 years ago....#peaceforparis

Didn't think I would be back so soon did ya! Well here it is... my first finish for the year for #finishitfifteen 1 year ago today we were visiting London and when we got back I found these via Instagram. I'm going to add the date and frame them for my craft room. I can't decide if I should leave them in a hoop or frame them under glass. Any display tips welcome!  It was super fun to stitch up and the perfect little carry around project.  I also have Pretty Little Paris to start soon.  The holiday planning goes into overdrive when you see the other cities that NEED to be stitched!  1 down 14 to go! #finishitfifteen

Progress on anything around here is so slow it is backwards! A few stitches here and there, pull it out, feel guilty cause there are other more pressing deadlines to meet, put it away again. I've been looking through our holiday photos and making our long awaited photo book while it was on special. Not sure I'll meet the January 2015 deadline I was hoping for on London and Paris....I'll be lucky to get just this one done! 

I've been pulling out old crafty things for the Kick the Bucket 2014 Challenge and well.....ummmmm.... I may have started a new one or two as well. Opps! First with the old.....very old. So old in fact that my so called friends laughed when I said that this was going to be for Aden's nursery. He is 4.5 years old. Looking back I *may* have been slightly over ambitious when I said it would be finished when he was born. I was 27 weeks pregnant when I picked the pattern. And 28 weeks when the pattern arrived in the mail.  At 29 weeks , just a week into the project I'd made some good progress. 5th May 2009 At 32 weeks it looked like this 29th May 2009 And at 39 weeks just a week out from his due date it looked like this... 14th July 2009 And then I had a newborn and we all know what happens to time after that. It gets really really fast and nothing much gets done while you feed and feed and change nappies and cuddle and feed some more.  Bu...

I'm slowly getting there with Aden's cross stitch....That's the trouble with starting soooo many projects at once...progress is always so slow!!

I tidied up my applique/cross stitch threads this morning..now they are all neat and tidy in the box.....and look what I'm working on...mini teddy bears!! I have also nearly finished my 'under the sea' cross stitch too...from way back here ....
