My poor Jester dog is allergic to fleas!! We are in a constant battle to keep him from scratching himself to pieces...he has, at various times, mananged to chew out all of his hair from vaiours parts of his body. Currently it is his backside that is copping most of his chewing....even though he only has a few fleas....so regular washing and flea treatments and tablets...

I got some quilty mail today....not the one I had hoped for though....I'm still waiting on my Doll Quilt Swap III quilt. But the lovely Mands sent me these 'cake layers' YUM..almost good enough to eat!!

The wonderfully talanted Adds has sent me some red in the mail today....watch out Hexagons here it comes!! They were so beautifully cut with love and care...thanks Adds!!! The one on the bottom is a little bigger than just a scrap for a hexagon....so as well as a few hexagons I think it will end up as something else....it is my favourite!!

After finishing the top of MY quilt.....I was left wondering what to do with the left overs.....They are too wonderful to throw out so I started piecing them together.... the have made an equally wonderful tiny quilt....just really too small to do anything with....but then I remember the 'Blankets of Love' organisation....they have people make and donate quilts for babies who die prior, during or just after birth. So I have decided to finish it and send it to them. It is a bit wobbly around the edges due to being scraps but I'm thinking a border in either of these two blues....of maybe a thin one of each...I thought I had some backing here....a perfect pink stripe....but it is not enough...so will have to find something at the shops on the weekend. It measures just under 28" square
